Audition Mastery

The Audition landscape has changed, whether it be for School, Scholarship, TV or Theatre. It's all about Self-Tape auditions now.  You get one chance for a first impression. The Self-Tape Audition has to accomplish 2 things: Technically it has to be on the money, and secondly: it has to capture the essence of the scene. If not, you will lose your audience.

This latest digital trend means: more people auditioning, more opportunities, but more is not always better, in fact, this gives the viewer less patience and raises the standards. To understand what makes a good audition, we have to understand what makes a bad one.

In "Audition Mastery" you will learn the rules of Auditioning in person and self taping. I will show you the parameters in which you can push the Audition, and give guidance on the acting required. Is it a different type of acting? Well, yes and no.

This "Audition Mastery" event is a must for Child Actors that are serious about getting TV, Theatre work, including applications for Schools, Scholarships, Drama schools or clubs that require a Self-Tape. We also invite parents to be involved in this learning experience. They are usually the ones holding the camera. 

Learning simple, yet highly effective principles in this field could be the difference between getting the job, or never being asked again.
